Sr. Beth Ann Dillon, DMSP
SISTER BETH ANN DILLON DSMP – is the Director of SPAR (Special Program of Adaptive Religious Education), a program designed for Special Needs Students of all ages who desire to receive Baptism, First Communion, and Confirmation. Sr. Beth Ann loves mentoring and training new SPAR Catechists. She helps to coordinate these Sacramental Preparation programs in the three parish locations in the Diocese of Syracuse.
Fluent in Italian, Sr. Beth Ann has attended school in Rome, where she received a S.T.L. in Sacred Theology from the Pontifical Salesian University. She has extensive educational experience, earning a Master’s degree in Special Education Administration and Educational Leadership from Eastern Michigan University. She has taught for over 30 years and served as an elementary school principal in Catholic Schools in Rhode Island, Michigan, and South Dakota.
Before joining the teaching staff at St. Rose of Lima School last year, Sister Beth Ann served as Director of Religious Education at St. Mary of the Lake in Skaneateles, NY. Sr. Beth Ann is continually inspired by the hopefulness, generosity, and vibrancy of today’s Youth! She also served for five years as Campus Minister at Bishop Ludden High School.
Outside of academics, Sr. Beth Ann is a religious of the Daughters of St. Mary of Providence, and lives in Camillus, NY. She plays guitar and writes music. Finally, Sr. Beth Ann offers Spiritual and Vocational Direction to interested single women in the pursuit of holiness. She was also featured in the reality TV show “Sisterhood: Becoming Nuns.”
